Saudi Arabia is a desert country encompassing most of the Arabian Peninsula, with Red Sea and Persian (Arabian) Gulf coastlines.
Saudi Arabia is bordered by Jordan and Iraq to the north, Kuwait to the northeast, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates to the east (in the World at War 2020 map only), Oman to the southeast and Yemen to the south. It is separated from Israel and Egypt by the Gulf of Aqaba. It is the only nation with both a Red Sea coast and a Persian Gulf coast and most of its terrain consists of arid desert and mountains. It's geography both protects and hinders it. Its dessert terrain protects it from invasion by slowing down any invading force from the north giving it ample time to prepare for it to repel any enemy. Being in a peninsula it is almost surrounded by water giving it some protection from would be enemies like Iran to the north east or Ethiopia to the south west and Egypt to the west.
